Sr. Workplace Coordinator

About the Role

Chime is looking for a Sr. Workplace Coordinator based in our Chicago office. The Workplace Experience team creates connection between Chimers and where they work. This role will provide day to day support for the Workplace Manager and will focus on the in-office experience for Chimers across multiple locations in the Central and East Coast. We're seeking a self-driven team member who thrives on building relationships and making a meaningful impact on the future of hybrid work.

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $75,330.00 - $102,500.00. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to

  • Coordinate in office onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
  • Manage onsite event logistics, including room bookings and setup.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, including monitoring performance, coordinating services, managing Purchase Orders and addressing issues or concerns.
  • Own facilities management, including maintenance and supply inventory.
  • Assist with workplace technology updates and system management.
  • Support administrative tasks and special projects.

To thrive in this role, you have

  • 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment in a workplace or office operations role.
  • A strong commitment to delivering exceptional results and exceeding expectations.
  • The ability to take initiative and drive projects to completion in ambiguous environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with various working styles and personalities.
  • Familiarity with Gsuite, JIRA, Envoy and Confluence is a plus.
  • Availability to work onsite 5 days a week in our Chicago office.
  • Availability to work the occasional early morning, late evening, and weekend as required.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs.
