Our culture

We’ve crafted a culture that’s grounded in our core values and always focused on our members. We’re civic-minded innovators who take action to bring people together to accelerate equity and prosperity. We embrace our humanity, treat each other with respect and kindness, and are driven to make an impact on our members and communities far and wide.

Working at Chime means putting our members first, keeping our values in mind, and striving for long-term growth and success. To us, that feels like progress™.

Diversity, Equity & Belonging

At Chime, we know the value of a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace because the best way to serve our member base is to build a team that reflects them. To that end, we practice inclusive hiring and foster a welcoming workplace culture.

To build a team that reflects our members, we specifically look for individuals of varying strengths, skills, backgrounds, and ideas. We embrace—and encourage—creativity at work, value diversity and openness, and take pride in nurturing a team that’s inclusive and welcoming. We know it’s not enough to talk the talk about diversity, equity, and belonging, so we work hard every day to walk the walk. We’re proud of the progress we’ve unlocked so far and aware of the work that’s left to do.

Where we work

Since Chime was founded, we’ve gone from being in-office to fully remote, and today we embrace a hybrid work policy with three primary offices and workspaces in cities where we have a high concentration of Chimers and remote Chimers.
